Sue from The Beesness makes a selection of honey, preserves, chutneys and other larder items from home in Bedfordshire. All the honey used in the products is from her own bees. She makes over 80 different lines of honey, jams, jellies and chutney's. If you cannot find the product you want on the list please email her and she will add it on for you. Orders may be collected by arrangement. One Day 'Intro to Beekeeping' courses and Cookery workshops are now being offered.

The course is aimed at those who have no experience of bees or beekeeping and are interested in learning more. The course will cover the following: a) An insight into beekeeping and the beekeeping year b) An understanding of the life cycle and behaviour of the honey bee c) How to perform basic manipulations d) Monitoring and treating the varroa mite e) Honey extraction and products of the hive f) If weather permits a look into a hive.
